‘Verbovaya Doshchka’ is the original title of this tune, a traditional folk song from Ukraine. It has been retitled ‘Liberation Day’ to provide modern-day relevance and context. I dedicate this short instrumental piece to the pride, bravery, and enduring spirit of the people of Ukraine, and ultimately to the invincible human spirit shared by all of us.
