Bathed in a field of white light is a child, kneeling and praying – and the child is us. What is ‘Grace’, actually? More than a blanket forgiveness of some ‘Original Sin’, it’s a recognition of Original Innocence – a mysterious blessing from the Universe itself, beyond our comprehension, not of our own doing - and it comes to us by way of no rational reasoning whatsoever.
