From the recording Frontiers

This track has an almost 'jazz-orchestral' vibe to it, mainly because I was inspired by a compositional style utilized by Joe Zawinul and Weather Report, particularly in their brilliant 'Second Sunday in August'. In fact the the finale is a direct quote from that track.

Forest Rejoicing renders a musical image of a lush, primordial forest where, embraced in this great sanctuary, we recognize how alive and joyful the forest is, all by itself.

It is also here inside the mantle of this sacred space that we may slowly come to understand our own energies, not apart from, but rather very much connected to, the power and energy of Nature herself.
