Clocking in at over 70 minutes, Light Music is comprised of nine instrumental compositions, each presenting a rich, mind-altering delicacy, where no two pieces are exactly alike but where each complements the others and supports the continuum.

In creating the soundscapes of Light Music, George Wallace uses a wide array of instruments both real and virtual, ‘Western’ and indigenous - resulting in exquisitely exotic mixtures of tonal colors and textures underscored with harmonically rich, cinematic washes of other-worldly synthesizers and ambient effects.

His soundstages often include trademark elements of melody (ranging from jazz-influenced to post-modern pop to microtonal, Asian, and Arabic modalities) and compelling rhythm, further contributing to and defining his iconoclastic approach to composing within the larger ‘Ambient/Space/Tribal/Trance’ context.
